Summer '11

Well I have managed to wait again to blog, an entire summer of fun and I guess too much to blog about hehe.  Hot hot summer at that!  We, Oklahoma have hit another record high this summer and it was miserable!  The kids got to the point they didn't even want to go outside.  The weather is beautiful now and we are very much taking advantage of it!  Went on our first family vacation to San Antonio for the National Down Syndrome convention and had a blast!  The kids did great on the car ride and Konnor boy went with us.  The resort we stayed in was amazing.  This Sunday, 10 year from 9/11 tragic in NY we will be celebrating Brayden's second birthday!  I cannot believe my baby boy is 2!  He has grown to be such a little handsome, smart and very onry but precious little boy!!  He loves Mickey Mouse, turtles and still obssessed with soccer balls!  Anthony is teaching him "pinch, poke you owe me a coke" and he walks around saying "poke coke poke coke" lol!!  He and Payton are a blast!  While P is out on leave Payton started back to school without her and she is actually doing better lol, she is actually following the rules and behaving better.  I think it is a part of her turning into a big girl too.  Buddy Walk is coming up and I haven't got much done, boo!  no time and my mary kay account for Payton is doing so well, no time!!!  Mama and Ron got started on the new house on the farm, so excited to see it!  Daddy is up to 3 club teams and made head coach at Moore High so he is swamped!  loving every bit and finally finding happiness in his career path.  I am a blessed woman to have a wonderful family!

Paytons gymnastics didn't go as well as planned but dance was pretty good.  We decided to wait on both until next year, giving her a little more time to mature.  Brayden could start soccer now if he could, he is that focused on it... crazy!!!!!!!  As I usually leave it, time flies when you are having fun!!

May 24 2011- The Farm

I am not sure how long I lived here with my brother and sister, a dog named Pete and my mother and real father- but I remember it... I also have sooo many memories with my mama and Ron- my brother and sister and cousins Brandy and Brad - memories of dance contest, hide and seek and one time Brandy ran into the bob wired fence :(, little Buffy- a shitzu we all hated but loved in one (we used to take a fishing pole and throw it at little buffy to aggrevate him) he was the meanest little cutest thing in the world.  A couple of funny memories- i think we might have snuck some wine and snuck out the window, but always had to sleep in the room with the big brass bed!  We also gathered most holidays to Mama and Ron's wonderful home cooked meals and let the grandkids run all over the house.

It was a beatiful place, but most importantly Mama and Ron made it out... they explain the seconds it took for their beautiful home to crumble around them on News 9 and it brings chills and tears to my heart!  Mama keeps talking about Payton's pillows she was sewing and Ryan later found some angel food cake still in foil and he ate it, hehe.  Ron pulled out a ski that we all learned how to ski on for the first time "woody".  Mama's eyes lit up everytime we found a picture, her china, etc... it was so sad.

We all worked so hard as a family to help get it cleaned up and salvage what we could.  Wonderful friends came out to bring food and drinks.  That house will be soooooo missed!  Mama and Ron are planning to rebuild this year.  The two are literally litte love birds and just grateful they have each other.

Before, house added on and 3200 sq ft.

Kam Bams birthday was a blast!

Little Kameron Andrew turned 2 on Friday and Saturday we had a water day for the birthday.  It was a blast!!  My little man played with all the balls all day and Payton played in her dress shoes with her snazzy zebra swim suit.  Man is she all girl and he is all boy these days!!  He decided he would try dirt this weekend and didn't like it too much.  He spent about 20 minutes trying to catch a cricket and almost in tears because it was exhausting and in the end still no cricket, lol.

Payton is talking more and more everyday.  She sang twinkle twinkle, most of alphabets, snookems song and last but def not least "you are my sunshine"to all of us this last weekend.  Teacher her dolls to go potty on the potty chair and they have been sitting in time out, being read to and the cutest they are getting dressed several different times.  She is a hoot!

Brayden is running around saying "Oh Goodness" and "Aw man!"  He got his first hair cut and looks so handsome and all grown up:(  Trying to get him to sleep in his toddler bed but he loves his crib too much right now, he looks so big in it!  He is finally falling a sleep and laying in our bed more, finally calming down to watch shows with us at night.  I miss him little but I will say this is my favorite age for the little guy.  He cracks us up!  In a some what deep voice he well tell us something that we can't even understand, he just thinks he is the boss.

It was a great weekend, much better then the last weekend when mommy got bit, a bowl thrown at her face and it seemed like Payton pooped 10 times in her pants!  Not going to write about that day, but def won't forget it!

Daddy is up to 2 teams and getting ready to start his club soccer in August.  San Antonio is in August so we are hoping he gets to come.  Bitter sweet if he doesn't.

Mothers Day 2011 was best!!

I could not of asked for a better weekend!!!  Friday was awesome, Saturday we slept in and spent the evening out side in the water and Sunday I woke up to breakfast in Bed, a sweet card from the hubby with coupon book from him and poster that had some very sweet little hand and feet prints on it!

Thursday was Paytons Mother Day tea party, you can see from the pictures we had a blast.  She introduced me said "Casey" when they asked my name, held my hand the entire time, sang very well with her other peers for the program- bringing home a bumble bee and hoochie coochie is by far her fav, brought me my food and tea (with quite a few spills but who is counting!) and best of all brought me a flower and the sweetest mothers day craft she made!!!  Little man topped the night off by grabbing my face and telling me "missed you momma" when i rocked him to bed.  Gosh so sweet.  It pays off I tell them I have missed them every single minute when I pick them up at the end of the day.

Brayden spent all weekend with his balls- slept with the tennis ball, soccer ball, vollyball and even throwing a fit about the new soccer and football craft I put on his wall- oh boy!!!  I found some sweet baby pictures of him and wished so badly he was still little chunky man!  I sure had a great weekend, the best!  Saturday evening Brayden and I ran to Hobby Lobby, he said hi to everybody in sight and sat very patiently in the cart while I shopped for picture frames.  We ended the day with our favorite white choclate pretzels, melted and all over our face!  He loves his momma!!

I am so blessed to have very smart, beautiful and very well behaved kidos!!!  Love them soooo much!

My sweet angel for life!!!

Never seen a kid like so many books in my life! so sweet

Easter Was a Blast!

So as usual our family is crazy busy!  Anthonys soccer season is over but Club is just getting started.  Payton had her first Easter Party at Gingerbread and all of us were able to attend this year.  Brayden had a good time but insisted on trying to run off to play with dogs in peoples yards close to Gingerbread, hehe.  He has been very cracky due to molars coming in and just a little fiesty one!  They both are really into one another right now, play together and help each other.  Brayden is now at the stage where we can all 4 lay in the bed together and watch TV and he is calm.  I love it!

Easter had me wishing for another baby.  To see my two so grown up is crazy!  I can't believe Brayden will be 2 and is wearing a 2T in tops!!  His foot is almost bigger than Paytons!  He was running with daddy and everytime he saw an egg to find his mouth dropped like he struck gold!  Such a happy kid!  He still obsessed wtih balls and now enjoying bugs with daddy- butterflies and birds too!  our backyard is looking good and we plan on spending our summer back there, can't wait!  Payton got a barbie scooter from the Bunny and Brayden got a tricycle.  It has been raining (which we are glad) but can't wait to see them get started riding them!  Payton threw the eggs so hard in her basket because she was so excited and in a hurry she cracked most of them.  I looked over and she had one peeled and eating the egg. lol.  Gosh they are so fun.

We did pictures- their first professional pictures together, oooooohhhhhhh sooooo cute!!!  My little man is a handsome devil and Payton is a doll face.  She loves the camera!

We went to the mall to eat the other night and she ran into a friend from Gingerbread- talk about adorable!  She said "hi addie" and her and Addie played and played.  They were both kind of being mean and not sharing with the other little girl who did not got to Gingerbread- guess it was a click thing-lol.

We are starting her in dance soon and then I hope piano, but we will see.  They are trying to tell me she needs to be at least 5 for piano but i think she would be fine. oh well.  we started her Mary Kay business and it is taking off so well!!  I don't only think this will help us raise money for her team but when she is older this might be the answer to her starting a job as she gets older.  She is just getting so grown up and I just don't want them to get big!!  it is bitter sweet.  Anthony and I are wanting another one now for sure but we are going to see how the stay home during the week/travel on weekend dad role goes.  I will miss him but we will get to visit him from time to time.  He is super pumped about this opportunity and quite frankly i think he should have been doing it from the beginning!  he is so smart at soccer and still pretty good at it.  and most of all loves it!

I was recently moved up to Admin II and am honored. I love my job and lucky to have found one I can enjoy while my boss lets me take off for the kids stuff.  I still miss them though every minute!!  Makes me sad that Brayden gets so excited to go to Donnas, but then again he is at that age he needs to be with other kids instead of sitting at home.  I will def prob take the time off to enjoy our third if we have one, it flies by so quickly when they are little chunky sweetys that just want to eat and sit around looking cute all day!

Payton was the cutest little thing, i find myself crying when i find baby pictures of her!!  Gosh i miss that!  I have brought most of her projects to work with me- her "if you give payton a pancake", her bear and the necklace out of a paperplate she made me.  I am so proud of her and she is doing so so well.  We are working hard on alphabets, counting but she knows most of her shapes and all of her animals.  She is talking excellent compared to what I thought she would be at.  She asked me the other night if I was tired and I said yes she said " go nite nite mommy".  soooo cute.  she is my little mom.  She calls me mommy most of the time now, which melts my heart.

Brayden usually gets rocked and 3 little bears when he goes to bed, loves when I talk it papa bear voice, he does that Anthony look with a scrunched nose and cutest smile!  I think I want one more of him and be done.  He is still a little blondie for now and big beautiful brown eyes.  Him and Payt are our twins for now.  We usually do puzzles and read at night and it is so fun.  They are loving old mcdonald song right now and if i dare say an animal twice, payton is sure to tell me "no mom- did it already".  LOL.  She is getting up sometimes in the middle of the night to go potty, which is soooooo awesome!!  She still has trouble and not completely potty trained, but she will get there.

Her mothers day tea party is coming up and i have to work:(  but mama is going to surprise her and go.  i know she will love that!  she loves mama and is going to miss her visits on Mondays.  When we kept telling the both of them guess who is coming this weekend (meaning the Easter Bunny) they would scream and get excited and say "MAMA!!!"   I was sad to have to say nope not mama.  They have so much fun.  Mama measures their feet and lets them put stickers all over her, lol.

We got lots of plans this summer, hoping San Antonio is one of them!!  Going to get us another turtle, Mo has disappeared (Brayden named him).  Poor boy he looks for him all over in the back and just doesn't understand why or where he has gone.  He is actually still back there and hiding from us crazy folks.  hehe.  The other turtle passed away, we found him in the pond :(  so sad.  So anyway I am sure we will find more animals to stock up in the back yard for Brayden boy.

Month of May is going to be crazy!!  Mothers day, Kalhours wedding, Kam Bams 2nd Birthday, Julies shower and Mason's first birthday which we are hoping to attend all- we will see.

Time flies when having fun!!!

I can't believe I have waited this long to blog about my precious babies!!  Brayden is such a big boy now and talking so much.  Saying "Thank you, Welcome, Please, Out-Side, Nonnie, Papa, Peaches, Dear God" and of course still saying "um bite um bite".  He went potty for the first time over the weekend, which not sure he is ready but man he will be early bird at it!  Payton is just about considered a potty trained little girl.  She really took a long time, it really is my fault because back in September when we started potty training her, we slacked but not being consistent.  Now she knows for sure she is in panties 95% of the time so if she goes it is going to be a mess.  Sooo very proud of her.  Her Christmas party was a blast and her Valentines Day party she was a doll face.  She lead me all over her playground to show momma where she plays.  She loves Gingerbread!  When they hold up her name and spell it out, she raises her hands and says "Payton!"  then she walks over to the table and sits patiently to eat her snack with her friends.  she does wonderful.  She loves her Jayce Anne too and wishes she could be her.  She follows her around and every morning talks about her Aunt P and Jayce Anne at "ingerbead"- Gingerbread.  She is now in her big girl bed and sleeps so much better.  I feel horrible from depriving her from good sleep.  The twin size helped so much.  We lay in bed around 745 and sing songs and while I try to read books, she insists on reading herself.  She is so funny, licks her left fingers to turn the page but uses her right to actually turn it.  She always gives us all a kiss good night and always always has to get up to go potty after she has layed there for a minute or too.  She still wakes up bright and early looking desperately for her daddy.  So sweet and so much fun!

Brayden would live in his Mommy's hands if he could.  His new thing is puckering his bottom lip when he wants me to hold him.  It will be my fault if he grows up to be a little boy that whines all the time, lol.  I don't care though- they are only little once.  When he lets me, I still rock him to bed and we sing "sun"- you are my sunshine and name the pictures on his projector.  He insists on having "igger and ooh" along with his best friend "blanket" every night.  He is by far the cutest little boy ever!!  He is so much happier than I ever dreamed he would be.  He was kind of a mad baby so for him to be as sweet and patient little boy- he has turned out adorable.  I knew he would but when your a mom you just can't believe how wonderful your kids are.  His favorite thing is still balls, he actually sleeps with a pillow ball now.  He also loves doggies, the cutest thing to see him with Peaches at Nonnie's house.  He cried his eyes out when she left the other day- sweet boy.  That boy will be something athletic but hope he is in to school/reading as well.  Daddy wants him to be a soccer boy, but I think he might be too tall.  I personally hope he plays the saxophone and loves to study all the time, hehe.  I turned in his enrollment for Gingerbread, he starts next fall- talk about boo hoo!!  I will have to think about having another one or getting me a puppy. lol.  He loves Payton so much.  They still go through times they fight, but for the most part they are best friends.  He follows her around and she tries to make him play babies.  He just throws the ball at her head and she is sooooo not interested if it isn't on her own time, lol.  We are still trying so hard to make it possible for me to stay home and possibly have another one next year but its in Gods hands for now.

Anthony is pursuing club soccer now, possibly getting a team soon.  He loves it and by far a natural at it.  When you think of something you are by far the best at and you can make money doing it everyday- that is something special!  I wish I knew what mine was, hehe!!  Maybe blogging?  lol, no really I hope to write a book one day about my darling babies and possibly become a photographer.  who knows?  He has been attending meetings again and doing great with his sponsor.  I am glad he has found his future and I know he will be great at it.  He loves soccer, loves being a leader for kids and absolutely loves his babies.  And I love him... well a little. Just kidn, I am sure he is going to read this so I had to have fun with it.

This time last year....

This time last year I was in tears praying for my little man to come.  You see he was not easy giving labor to at all- started at 6am and lasted to 5:23pm.  Started out excited, all of 200lbs and heard being induced was a breeze.  Yep not in my world it wasn't!  My body was contracting but not dilating, finally we had to turn me over on my belly to suffocate him, then he flipped over and was born within 30 minutes.  7.14 and 20.75 inches long, my baby boy!!

Today is a great day, the weather is beautiful and I am so excited about spending dinner with our family.  Brayden's birthday party will be especially special because he is walking and finally saying "momma", well it is still a mumble but we can pretend.  Who'd a thought my son would say "cracker" and "night night" before "momma" hehe.  His birthday theme is "Lil Quarterback turning 1", so cute and of course Tosh is making the cake.  I am sure his big sister and him will fight over presents and she will open the majority of them and won't be surprised if she is kind of territorial over Gingerbread, lol.

Love my babies, can't believe I have two toddlers!!  As always, God is good all the time!
